An Important Message for Team Captains

Welcome to Gran Fondo NJ and thanks for stepping up to the plate as a “Team Captain”. As riders, we appreciate the efforts you make to pull together a group to participate in Gran Fondo NJ.

To recognize your effort, the following benefits will be given to you for creating your team:

1. When you register as a Team Captain and create a Team, contact us and we'll create a discount code for your team. You can use this code to recruit team members who will receive up to 20% off their registration with this code.
2. Get 5 additional riders (6 team members including you) to register under your team name and we’ll refund half of your Gran Fondo NJ registration fee.
3. Ride Gran Fondo NJ for only $1.00 - Get 5 more additional riders (11 team members including you) to register under your team name and we’ll refund the rest of your Gran Fondo NJ registration fee (less $1.00).
4. Get 10 more additional riders (21 team members including you) to register under your team name and we give you a 100% discount for a Gran Fondo NJ Cycling Jersey.

Team Benefits

Team Discount on registrations:

To help you in recruiting team members, send us an e-mail through the Contact Us link at the bottom of this page and we’ll create and forward you a Team Discount Code your team members can use for a discount off registration fee in effect at the time they register. Make sure you have your Team members use this Team Discount Code and register as part of your team at time of registration or their registration will not be credited towards your rewards. The Team Discount code is limited to 50 uses.

NOTE: Team members must use this discount code at the time they register in order for you as captain to receive credit towards your rewards, and in order for them to receive their discount – Discount Codes will not be applied retroactively to any registrations. If riders have already registered and want to join your team, we can transfer to the team, but neither the discount nor a credit towards your recruiting goals will be applied.

Team “KoM” Award:

• Team “KoM” awards for the Gran, Medio and Piccolo Routes – The Team Time will be based on the overall time of the five team riders with the lowest cumulative times of the timed climbs on the route.
• Each of the 5 Team Members will be awarded a very limited edition (for KoM/QoM winners only) Gran Fondo NJ Jersey
• The entire team will have the opportunity for a Podium Photo in front of the Gran Fondo NJ Stage Banner.
